Photo Buddies Project
This project was originally created by the Contemorary Photography Group of Queen's Park Camera Club during January and February 2013. We are a non competetive, arts based group and pursue techniques and projects removed from mainstream club work. The project has since expanded, with more club members participating in additional sessions.

The Photo Buddy Project involved everyone putting their name in a hat and then drawing out pairs of "Photo Buddies". Each of the "Buddies" was then tasked with providing a photographic portrait of the other person. The aim was to show something of the personality of the other person. This required everyone to strike up a rapport with their opposite number.....find out their hobbies, likes, dislikes etc and then produce a photograph telling the viewer something about the subject. The gallery below shows some of the images taken by the participating members and hopefully portrays to the viewer, a flavour of the diverse characters involved (click on the images to enlarge).
